Le Golf National Aigle Course: Premier Golf Awaits
L'Aigle, or The Eagle, is the facility's second 18-hole layout and serves as a perfect counterpart to the severity of the Albatros. Designed solely by Hubert Chesneau, it offers a distinct yet related experience. The course presents a genuine links-style feel, characterized by wide, undulating fairways, flowing rough, and well-regarded greens. While still a formidable challenge, with a "Moderate - Hard" difficulty rating, it is deliberately more tolerant than its famous sibling, featuring fewer bunkers and less penal water hazards.
Aigle Course
This thoughtful design makes L'Aigle a versatile asset. For visitors, it serves as an excellent warm-up round to become accustomed to the property's style before tackling the Albatros. Alternatively, it can be a "reconciliatory" round played the day after, allowing golfers to restore confidence and end their visit on a high note. Its more accessible nature has made it an extremely popular course for local golfers and members, ensuring the facility is a vibrant hub of daily play, not just a stage for occasional tournaments.
