George Fazio Course at Palmetto Oceanfront Resort
The Fazio Course, designed by renowned architect George Fazio, proudly ranks among America’s Top 100 Courses, making it one of the youngest to achieve this distinction. Known for its challenging long par-4s that feature strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, it is recognized as one of the Southeast's most demanding layouts. After a complete greens replacement with cutting-edge Diamond Zoysia turf, the course now requires both powerful drives and precise shot-making. Stretching 6,873 yards from the championship tees, the layout begins with a 432-yard opening hole and concludes with an impressive 462-yard 18th hole.
Arthur Hill Course at Plametto Dunes Oceanfront Resort
The Arthur Hills Course, set on rolling dunes, challenges golfers with off-balance lies and ocean breezes. Featuring ten holes with water views, it demands precision. Rated 4.5 stars by Fodor's Golf Digest, the course spans 6,651 yards from the back tees. Recognized as "Golf Course of the Year" by the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association, it ranks among the state’s best. A highlight is the Historic Hilton Head Rear Range Lighthouse behind the #5 green, built between 1879 and 1880, part of a historic navigation system and the only historic lighthouse on Hilton Head Island.
Robert trent Jones Oceanfront Course
The signature par-five 10th hole features breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and is recognized as one of the most extraordinary holes in the United States. As one of only two oceanfront holes on Hilton Head Island, this legendary hole provides enjoyment for golfers of all skill levels. The course has been designated a "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses, reflecting its commitment to wildlife conservation. Furthermore, the Jones course has been honored as the "Golf Course of the Year" by the South Carolina Golf Course Owners Association, along with numerous other prestigious awards and recognitions.
