Tara began her journey in golf at a young age, demonstrating remarkable talent and dedication, being the first female golfer on the Men’s golf team at her High School, she was recently inducted into the Vintage High School Hall of Fame. Tara was the first recruit to play on scholarship at the University of California, Berkeley, Women’s Golf Team and served as team captain. After playing at a Division I level for the Pac-10 conference, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree. After graduation in 2000, Tara packed a backpack and hopped on a plain to Madrid, Spain by herself and traveled through Europe for 3 months on her own where she honed her craft of connecting with others. After returning to the US, she took a job as a flight attendant at United Airlines, based at Chicago O’Hare International. After September 11th, Tara returned to golf at her hometown, the Napa Valley and began studying as a teaching professional through the LPGA.

Tara went through extensive training that allows her to tailor her teaching methods to the unique needs of her students. This educational foundation, combined with 26 years of instruction, establishes her as a credible figure in the field of golf instruction.
